How Do You Delete Multiple Emails in Outlook Mobile App?

Patrick Burnett

If you are an Outlook user, you might have struggled with deleting multiple emails in the mobile app. It can be a time-consuming task to delete each email individually. Luckily, there is a simple way to delete multiple emails at once in the Outlook mobile app.

Step 1: Open Outlook App

Firstly, open the Outlook app on your mobile device and go to the inbox where the emails you want to delete are located.

Step 2: Select Emails

Next, tap and hold on one of the emails that you want to delete. You will see a checkmark appear next to that email.

Now, tap on any additional emails that you also want to delete. Once you have selected all the emails that you wish to remove, release your finger from the screen.

Step 3: Delete Emails

After selecting all of the desired emails, look for the trash can icon in the bottom right corner of your screen. Tap on this icon and select “Delete” from the options that appear. All of your selected emails will now be deleted from your inbox.

Additional Tips:

Select All Emails:

If you want to delete all emails in your inbox at once, tap on “Edit” in the top right corner of your screen. Then select “Select All” followed by “Delete.” This will remove all of your inbox messages at once, so be sure before taking this step.

Filter Emails:

If there are specific types of emails that you want to delete such as spam or promotional messages only, then use filters to sort messages by category and then follow steps mentioned above.

    To Sum Up:

Deleting multiple emails in Outlook mobile app is a straightforward process but not necessarily intuitive if you’re new to using it. By following these steps, you can save time and easily delete multiple emails at once. Remember to be cautious when selecting all emails or filtering messages – it’s always best to double-check before taking any permanent actions.
